Passenger side fire wall under the hood near the bottom were the firewall starts to roll into the floor board. there should be a tube hanging out of the fire wall.

SOURCE: Water leak on driver's side - 2000 Mitsubishi Galant

I was a manager at a Mitsubishi dealership.

There was a "secret warranty" on certain Galants where the firewall seam would fair and leak water into the interior. Call your local dealer to see if your vin qualifies. The fix is to simply reseal the firewall crimp seam with silicone sealant.

Alternatively, sunroof equipped cars sometimes get the drain channels clogged in time. Make sure to clean drain holes and use forced air if necessary.

Lastly, some cars have heaters with pollen filters. If those filters become clogged, condensation can accumulate and overflow into the interior.

If any of these solves your issue, please rate my answer

SOURCE: water in driver side floor

The condensation tube is blocked more then likely, a shop can unclog from underneath for about 30-40$. It is usually located near where the a/c aluminum lines enter the firewall if you want to attempt it yourself. If the line is not blocked then the evap box probally has a crack in it and will need replaced

SOURCE: 2002 Mitsubishi Galant has water draining into the

the ac drain is more than likley stopped up, they tend to get clogged with debri not allowing the condensation from the evap. core to drain properly, thus allowing it to leak into the floorboard.

Looks like you may need new weatherstrip for the driver's door including the pieces for the window.

Driver side floor board wet

It depends, is it antifreeze or clear water? It could be condensation from the ac. Sometimes you can get under the vehicle and use a probe in the drain. It would probably be the best to clean out from inside, if that is the problem?

2004 rear drivers floor board is wet

Sounds like the door gasket or trunk gasket is not sealing.
You may have to take it to a body shop to find the problem.

1997 burick centry custom floors stay wet

its more likely to be the drain hole for the shuttle, were the heater gets it air feed from there will be a drain for the water to get out, can get blocked with leaves etc, you may need to get your hand down there and pull out the rubbish and poke your finger in the hole to push the debris out.

WET CARPET ON DRIVER'S SIDE

Could be the drain for the ac is plugged up. Usually when this happens the passenger side floor gets wet, but it could be coming out on the driver's side when you take a right turn.
The drain should be on the bottom of the firewall near the floor, you should see water dripping onto the ground when the ac is on.

Hi I have the same issue with my a 2002 explorer xlt 4 door no sun roof. when it rains or goes through the car wash the drivers side seat belt gets soaked and water runs down to the floor board soaking the...

There are drains for the sunroof that are located in the coners of the roof, these plug up and the water drains into car, you will need to remove the cover were the seatbelt is and see if the hose that connects to the drain fell off or if drain is plugged, open the roof all the way back and using a bottle filled with water , pour over the drains one at a time and see if it drains if not you will need to use a coat hanger and unplug them but i would still check for the hose off on the side that leaks water. good day.

Water accumulates only on the front and rear driver side floor boards and "only" after it rains. I was told it might be a plugged drain. How can you tell if its a plugged rain drain and not a poorly sealed...

take a star screw driver and punch a pair of holes in your floor on drivers side make sure once you go through push the screw driver towards the front of the car and creat angled pockets
these will be your new drains being so small they will bnot tako on water or they will take on a min of water and they will drain the floors

it''s the easiest way to fix the problem go right through the carpet it's just thet easy use a good pointy screw driver or a center punch but dont make the hole larger then 1/4 inch
a mechanic will carge you 250 to fix original drains and will likely do the same as i said a couple of wacks near the lower center on the floor boards
so get in place feet on floor slide them back against the seat with it all the way back now place pointy object between feet and wach it with a hammer
once through push pointy objest forward to create new drain

Location of ac drain to try and stop wet floor board on 98 tj?

The problem is with the evaporator drain. There is a, (usually soft flexable), tube that drains condensation from the evaporator to the outside. It is located in the passenger compartment, under the dash. The hose has, (A)-became disconnected from the evaporator. (B)- Has gotten a kink in it. (C)-Became clogged, causing the evaporator to overflow into your passenger floorboard. Your vehicle probably has some covers over these components, you will likely have to remove. Locate the hose, it typically drains just behind and inside your right front wheel. It may be concealed behind a kick panel, or may go thru the floor or firewall. You must find it and follow it to the evaporator and make sure it is not clogged or kinked and is properly connected to the evaporator.

Floor board wet drivers side. No drain tube for ac condensor. Not losing radiator water. Ac condensor not draing to outside. No tube on firewall. 4.2 dohc model

all of dodge models have a drain tube you'll find it over the rack n pinion on the right side passenger but you have to see when does the water comes in the floor board, when you use the AC or when it rains if it's the AC then it's you drain if it's when it rains then you have to check for leaks on your windshield or fire wall

Wet floor board.

Buddy J has one possible problem solution. The other thing that can cause water on the floor board of the passenger side only os a clogged up a/c drain. Locate the drain and blow compressed air downwards not upwards or else you will clog up the system and make your situation worse
