hi from uk this sounds like you have no servo assistance with brakes? if your engine is diesel? then the vacuum pump is not providing assistance there are different methods of haw vac pump is driven? some are driven off rear of alternator/ off the rear of camshaft ? if petrol engine ? the vac is a pipe from inlet manifold connected to servo unit this pipe has also a none return valve fitted may i suggest whether diesel or petrol engine you check the hoses from pump to the servo ? also if alternator driven pump? check fanbelt? if ok then to check if pump is fault? pull out the hose /pipe from the grommet entry point on servo unit and with engine running ? you should feel vacuum if you put finger over the end ? no vac ?? you will have to check the drive coupling from alternator if diesel engine ? if you come back with more info after tests above ? may be able to advise further?

I have the same problem and the rac put a diagnoses laptop on it and said it was the fuel pump..
I took it to the ranault dealer and he charged me %1 for the same diagnoses and then called me later in the day and said it was one of several things and that it would cost me between

hi check the terminal connections at the horn attach test light to one and hold prob to other get assistance to press horn test light should light up if it lights up all good to that point attach wire from battery + terminal to one horn terminal and earth other to see if horn working

If the battery went dead or the radio lost power at any time you will need to re-enter the code for it to work again. If this is not the case check the fuse for it as it may have blown in which case you will be required to enter the radio code after replacing the fuse.
