the isuzu car in uSA, only has this port.
its a USA invention an began in 1996 (some cars 2 years early short list)
the OBD2 is in the cab. of car. near center of the steering wheel (by law in usa)
most cases its at drives knees, just under dash lip.
if someone didnt move it (my trick)
on my cars i have and extension cable there to passenger side so we can scan and log data.
in this case they hid it nice, behind glove box.
and is 16pin D-shell female conn. with 12vdc on pin 16 if power is missing on this pin, the scan tool will be INOP

Passenger side of vehicle. Look under vehicle around the rear door area. Inline filter.
Buy the Haynes or Chiltons. Well worth it for the vehicle. Also hondaautomotiveparts(dot)com can get you decent prices on some items. Isuzu Rodeo and Honda Passport are the same car (made by Isuzu). It atleast has a good breakdown of parts with pictures.

its usually behind the glove compartment in the blower box. you will have to pull the GB door down all the way to access it

I need a part for my Scotts/John Deere tractor-blade starter-black rubber with 8 prongs and yellow knob. Yellow knob has sun symbal on top. The back of the switch has Delta Systems, Inc. Series 6201 Pat No. 5221816 -also has KSD on the side Com C Com B and Com A on other side. Please advise whee I can find this part.

Here is a photo of the obd connector on a 1993 Isuzu Trooper.
The connector is on the transmission hump about 6 inches from the accelerator pedal. It is inside a black hood. Right next to the white OBD connector is an identical green connector that I have not tested.
The OBD port is a white 3 hole plug. Right next to it in the photo is a green 3 hole plug that I believe is for automatic transmission diagnostics. The plug is different from other plugs under the dash as it will not accept a .25" tab connector.
The picture shows a 20 ohm resistor being used to short pin 1 and 3 of the white plug. The resistor is to prevent a melted wire in case the plug shorted is the wrong plug.
To read the error codes from the engine computer, the mechanic is supposed to short pin 1 and pin 3 of the OBD port plug. Then the mechanic turns on the ignition switch and counts flashes of the "check engine" light to determine the error values being reported.

Your SUV is really giving you a hard time, lol. Sorry but I've had those days too.
I would try to check if you have blocked EGR passages. If ok check for restricted MAP sensor vacuum hose/passage or restricted exhaust. I know you replaced the CAT but if the muffler is blocked then there would still be a restriction. Also check the wiring and connection to the MAP sensor.
