SOURCE: ac will not blow thru ac vents, only thru defrost vents.

if vent doors are operated by vacuum check for loose or broken vacuum hoses in the engine compartment , or check the fuse box for any ac/heat fuses if it is a electricaly controoled system

SOURCE: air only blows on floor with very little coming out the defrost or regular vents.

Hope you have the same set up, sure you do. You may have either crossed your vaccum lines or when you were putting your heater/ac box back together or you may of pinched the vents somewhat closed. Cycle through the different zones to ensure the vents are moving as your are selecting (defrost, floor, ect...) If you think the vaccum lines are correct then you may have a reassembly issue with the Heater/ac box. I had the same problem with my 2000 Dodge Ram 4x4. Use the KISS rule "keep it simple stupid" start with the vaccum lines and all your wiring to the motors, make sure everything is plugged in. Hopefully you'll find it there before going back into the box again.

SOURCE: when i have the heater/defroster on the heater

It sounds like you have a blend air door stuck. This is in the housing of the heater a/c blower unit under the passenger side of the dash. There is a motor on the top of the housing that could possibly be stuck or on working.

My heat/ac in 04 Camry has intermittently broke over past few years (absolutely no blowing). It blows fine when it does work. The last time it was working though, I could hear it struggling to blow.

My line here is ..." If a man put it together man can fix it" this is one of those you can do it really. OK, The blower motor moves a lot of air... they go bad (sometimes just dirty). you're correct by the glove box area slam... it's located right behind it. You need to remove glove box cover, then that opens you to a Plastic Cover on the bottom of the blower, remove 3 screws and the motor will drop down. There will be the wire connectors release the clip and the motor is out. Now a new motor less then $40 online but if you're tight on money. Spay WD 40 remove the squirrel cage and spray the shaft upper and lower "Liberally so do it over an old towel or shop rag clean it out good, add some "LIGHT 3 IN ONE OIL to both ends of the shaft where the bearing "Live".. Plug back in and try " before you reassemble" you might be able to get a few more years of life out of it. This is not that hard to do it will take you an hour to 2 hours for the whole project depending on your abilities. I Hope this helps

2006 Honda Odyssey ac will not blow

If a/c does not blow, check the blower fuse and high speed relay. If all checks good, you may have a bad blower motor. Sometimes, hitting on top of the passenger side dash top, the blower motor may come on. If that works, you still will need to replace blower motor.
If a/c doesn't blow cold but the blower motor runs......... check the front a/c condenser located in front of radiator for a hole that was caused by a rock from the highway that could have punctured it. That's a common problem.

What couses the air conditioner to blow hard ans sometimes slow

It's been my experience that this condition is caused by a bad connection at the blower motor, or a blower motor resistor on its way out.

Car ac

If you mean by turns on/off that it stops blowing air. Then it is most likely the blower motor. The contacts in the motor can get worn. When you are driving the car the vibrations from the road can cause the motor move slightly thus losing and then regaining contact. This causes the blower motor to turn on and off seemly at will. If this is the case. Replace the blower motor.

1999 z71 air conditioning randomly stops blowing

If the air stops blowing from the vents, the problem is with the blower motor. If it doesn't come on, try slapping the motor with your hand. If it starts when slapped, replace the motor.

My 98 tahoe's heater only works occasionally, it used to be that it only worked on high and low and sometimes i would have to hit the dashboard to make it start blowing. recently it stopped working all...

try taping on the blower motor with a mallet. if it starts when u tap it, its probably the blower motor itself. if it doesnt it is most likely the blower motor resistor. let me know which one you need to find
