With engine running the high beam indicator does not go out on low beam. Any suggestions? Thanks
Switch is bad or ya got a short somewhere. Take voltage meter and test all ur wiring in the harness where it may looklike it could be damaged or tight. also chk make sure all lights are working.
Faulty relay under dash somewhere for high beams or faulty switch on steering column. relay should click on and off suspect relay stuck in high beam on most likely location of relay is under bonnet or side panel on vehicle.

Just to clarify, the high beam and low beam bulbs are the same bulb. It is a dual element bulb. If the bulbs and switch are known good, check the high beam relay.

There are no relays for the headlights. Your problem could be from the headlight switch. You would have to check and see if you have power coming out of the switch on the low beam side. Check with a test light.

had the same problem on my 92....check under the hood on the drivers side, towards the front, there is a "junction box" with all of the lighting wires connecting from the switches to the lights. My wires were all corroded inside,so I cleaned the ends and bought a new box from the local electronic supply store. The problem has not come back.
Cheers

try taking your tilt steering(steeringwheel) and check which setting its on if the tilt steering is all the way down click it up to the next setting and then try your low beams if that still doesn't work try it one more click up you might have a short or pinched wire in your wheel colum
