SOURCE: horn doesnt work but fuses and relay are good

In most cases this problem is caused by the rotating ribbon circuit contact under the steering wheel having a broken filament, the part is known as a clock spring contact, u will need to properly disarm the airbag and remove the steering wheel to access the part. WARNING: Failure to follow factory Airbag disarming protocol can result in an unexpected Airbag deployment and possible serious personnel injury or death.

SOURCE: 2004 Chevy Tahoe, Horn doesn't work.

The button on you steering wheel is the problem, try to open it up and pull the spring just a little bit. I think you have used it too much ;)

2004 tahoe horn location. Iam having problems with my horn. I have checked the horn switch on the steering colume. that may or may not be working the horn has worked recently buy useing a jumper

If you used a jumper wire on load side of horn relay and the horn sounded, the horn itself isn't the problem. Have you checked applicable fuses? Not only check the fuse, check for voltage on fuse circuit, use a testlight.
The horn button on the steering wheel and associated wiring is ground for control side of horn relay.

Ignition was not working the key wont go in,after it was fixed the horn wont work what could be the problem?

horn fuse is blown, locate fuse box, sometimes there are 2 , one in car and 1 under hood, engine compartment.
use your cars manual to see horn fuse and replace with same fuse.
If the fuse is burned out, replace it. Try the horn again. Check your car owner's manual for the location and type of fuse. Check whether there is any debris obstructing the horn button on your steering wheel that may be preventing the horn from sounding

Horn on 2005 Prius only work with key.

Check the Horn Relay (in fuse box under the hood). You will need to check for Circuit continuity between the Relay and the horn button. There must be a loose connection under the dashboard or in steering column. Pressing the Horn button Grounds the circuit, so check the circuit from the relay to the horn button for continuity to ground.

I own a 2001 ford expedition my horn does npt work.the fuse is under the hood its good. when i press the horn i hear a clicking near the peadles, can it be a bad ground. what color is the wire in the...

Did you use a test lite to see if fuse circuit, hot all the time. Because that module is involved, I can't troubleshoot it from here. Also, my info says airbag and horn button are integrated. That airbag is dangerous. At the horn, yellow wire with lt green tracer is voltage, black wire is ground. You could use jumper wires off the battery for voltage and ground to see if horn will sound, if you try that use an inline fuse.
My info says that central security module is located under the dash, to the left of steering column, The clicking may be coming from the module, I don't know?

My horn just stopped working on my 88 f-150. everything is still connected to the horn box under the hood. what else could be wrong with it?

Horns die like crazy on these. put power to the horn and make sure it works. The horn button is possible too the clockspring connection at the steering wheel. Find the wire in the harness under the colum that works the horn its black and it's on one end of the connector. with a test light hooked to ground, touch the wire and it should light dimly and the horn relay shough click. if it does the horn is likly or the fuse is blown two wires at the horn one shold be hot all the time and the other becomes grond pushing the horn button if thats good the horn is bad
