Window glass has channels on the sides but no tracks
When ever a window falls, it is because the window regulator broke
That could be a metal piece or the more popular metal & cable assy
Obviously you have to remove the inner door panel to check out the problem & then get the worn parts at a dealer or maybe the auto parts store,but not likely
The windows are controlled by electric window regulators. They are cable regulators with electric motors. They average in price around $100, new.
If your window is up, don't put it down until you have the regulator replaced. Otherwise you may end up stuck with the window in the down position and no way to get it up.
