2002 Toyota Sienna power sliding door stopped working

The passenger side (and only) power sliding door stopped working suddenly. There were no problems leading to the sudden stop. When you hit either of the door operating buttons it does nothing, no trying to move the door at all. Is there a fuse that can be replaced? I can't seem to find one. I've read of a reset procedure, but seem to find two different versions. What is the proper procedure or does this seem to be a motor/cable problem? When trying to manually open the door, it is difficult. I can see the cable and it moves when the door is moved so I feel it isn't broken, at least where I can see it. If it was a broken cable, wouldn't I at least hear the motor trying to work? I have 4 kids and the power door is extremely handy and I'm searching for an inexpensive fix, if possible. I have read that a motor/cable replacement could run up to $1800. Thank you.

It seems like this is the motor that operate the sliding door...it might just be the switch on the door where you push the button if that isnt the only button that cant operate what it is suppose to operate...the motor will be locted inside the door

Just got my working! Try to open door one way or the other if possible. Keep it open for the next step. Then press and hold "Door" button on dash for about 20 seconds (you might hear a sound by door motor). Close the door (manually if possible). Next open you hood and disconnect battery cable (red or +) for about 5 mins. Reconnect battery cable and press the "Door" button, it should be working this time. Good luck! The key to the process is to push and hold button and then disconnect battery cable for about 5min. Alfred

02 Toyota Sienna power sliding door not working

See if power reaches the motor. If it does and motor does not operate you have found the problem. If no power then the issue is electrical in nature and you will have to trace the current flow to the motor.

The power door lock and wireless key transmitter suddenly stopped working on my toyota 2002 sienna xle. I'm looking for a way to fix this.

Look for the power locks (power) fuse in the cabin fuse by the steering column, if that fuse is ok, you may have a body ecu problem.

Our passenger side power sliding door doesn't open

Check out the wiring. Sounds like something is loose or the switch may be going bad.

SLIDING DOOR CABLE SNAPPED

Just turn the switch off for the power door and should just be able to use it manually if the cable is not bound up.

I have a sicna 03 sliding door on passenger side

DO NOT PUSH IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
1. turn off the power button for the power sliding doors located on the lower dash area.
(in for on out for off)
2. close the sliding doors
3. disconect the battery and wait 1 minute.
4. reconect the battery, turn on the power switch
5. use one of the door control buttons open and close the door this should reset the door.

If this fails to get it working i'm sorry but you will need to take it to a dealer.
and most likly it will need a new drive $3000 aproxmatly. it can not be serviced
