Sounds like a bad Ignition Module which would cause no firing of the plugs. Pull the #1 plug, put the plug wire back on it and hold the plug (with insulated pliers) to the metal on engine. Then have someone start the truck and see if the plug is firing.

check your crankshaft sensor to see that its not got a broken wire

Check the MAP sensor and the fuel pressure at the shredder valve. Before you try to start the engine, cycle the ignition 3 times to the run position for 10 seconds apart and then try starting the car. You may be lossing the fuel pressure prime. Good luck and keep me posted, be glad to hlep.

I had the same problem , and if you read your book, it could be the fuel pump shut off switch, mine was bad and went from on to off position, its usually under the passenger side of the dash, look underneath at the "top" of the carpet, and you'll see a little red switch, check to see if the thing is plugged in , if it is , check to see if the switch is all the way down. i had to get a new one , sombody must have kicked mine and made it broken, but i got a new one and it worked fine
check ignition pick up its in the distributor. its responsible for spark in the plugs
