I have a 2000 Honda Accord V6 LX with power/remote locks including the trunk(it pops unlocked with remote). My trunk latch broke recently and have a bungee keeping it closed but it constantly bounces and I don't want to damage the trunk itself anymore. I cannot find the part online available to order though. The part number I found for the trunk latch and lock is: p/n 08E49-S84-100H, replaced by: p/n 08E49-S84-101H. I cannot find either part online. Can anyone help? A used part is preferable and seems like the only option but I'm not aure

My honda alarm keeps going off while car locked

there are sensors in each lock cylinder, trunk, and hood latch. Is it an ex? try locking the car with the remote, then use the key to unlock each door, if the alarm goes off, that's the bad switch. look in your fuse panels and see, I'm pretty sure if you pull the fuse to disable the alarm, you will lose your power locks

The trunk on my 2002 Honda Accord will not latch

There is a possibility that the remote latch cable is stuck (lubrication is gone) . With a screwdriver, NOT the fingers, try to return manually the latch, to its open position (instead of the pull open position). If you push it too far, it will go into locked position, and when you pull down the trunk lid, it wont reach its normal closed position. In that case, pull the latch back open, with the remote lever. Should you manage to close the trunk properly, spray some WD40 or some lubricant on the latch assembly.
