Will a shift cable in a 2002 ford focus work in any 2002 ford focus like a ford focus zts sedan?

They will be the same part number so it should wirk

check the engine breather pipes under the manifold at the front of the engine ,could be these pipes are perished causing your problem

Its the one in front of the convertor . The way it works is bank one is the sensor closest to the front of the vehile its in the pipe bank 1 senoer 2 would be the next closest to the front of the vehicle because you don't have a y pipe its a 4 cylinder engine

If you have replaced the Throttle Position sensor and the O2 sensors you need to look at the brakes for dragging.

Since you must not show a "check engine light" you would want a diagnostic test beyond the self-diagnostics on your car. This would be BIG testing machine which will show cylinder balance,timing, and emissions. The best would be a DYNO which would put your car on a roller table and have the car running through its gears while its wheels are spinning and the mechanic is under the hood.

You will get answers and the guessing is expensive in the long run. Some dealers have them and so do real performance shops.

Open up hatch , reach in and pull back liner, Remove nuts to release light lens. then push, turn and pull out bulb socket and same for bulb.

not sure what the sound was, but if there's a blown head gasket, the water that gets in a cylinder won't compress and it won't turn over very well and sometimes not at all. that may be what they mean by "holding compression".

check for water in the oil...it'll foam up on the dipstick,

Get a second opinion from a reputable shop other than Ford.... If it's a head gasket, it's much cheaper than an engine swap, if that's what you're thinking...

Unkookn the evaporator core line from under the passenger side fender and remove the orifice tube

if the numbers on the bottom of pan match .
