SOURCE: Removing and replacing tension struts on 08 Dodge Charger

I just did mine on 06 Charger Daytona it was a passenger side I was getting a lot of clunking and creaking noise going over bumps and during acceleration. It is fairly easy. I started by lubricating nuts and bolts it also took a lot of elbow grease. My advice start by unscrewing the bushing bolt where it connects to the frame. Once that's out unscrew the bolt that holds strut on the wheel side use the ball joint puller ( around $20 at Partssource) to pop it out.

No power in my ford fusion

Make sure the cables are connected properly and tight. Check for blown fuses, or loose wire connections coming from the battery to the car.

Starter

check the connections on your starter and make sure they are tight and corrosion free.. if there is no corrosion and all the connections are tight the the problem is goiung to be that the bendix inside the starter has a flat spot on it causing it to stick and not turn freely... in that case replacing the starter is the the best choice to make..

2009 charger won't start

1st off is it getting spark ?
2 things to try if you have went thru spark, fuel, ignition.
Dodge cars and trucks have a cam shaft sensor, inexspensive and it sends info to motor, (Google it for location) also if your catalytic converter is clogged it wont start/run, bang on it and if you hear loose or ratteling in it then its clogged, punch a hole in it and if it starts then replace that and you are good to go.

Needs a starter. How difficult is it?

The starter is right behind,or above depending on the engine size of the front frame work!Around in the center ! From 1-- 10 about a 5 in difficult remove and replace. And about even with the top of the oil pan. Unhook the positive battery cable first ,then the cable and wiring from starter solenoid. there may be a plastic cover hideing the 2 bolts.Remover the cover, then loosen the starter upright
bolts then remove the one short one on the rear bracket,of the starter,to the lower part of the engine block! Check flywheel for worn teeth,or flat spots, and converter bolts for tightness!
