1996 dodge neon no spark from coil
You will have to check for power and ground and reference at the coil pack. if these are good then the coil pack is no good. check for codes in ECM there could be a crank code set. if one of the voltage checks is bad then you will have to find were the lose of voltage is and repair. note the ground for the coil circuit is controlled by the ECM with what is called coil drivers.

Check your engine wiring harness for a short or a broken wire. It has a black cover on it. Pull up slightly on the harness at the right side of the valve cover. There is a bracket that is bolted to the cylinder head in this area. You might have to **** on it, but do so with caution. Start the car & let it idle. Start pulling up on the harness as I described. If you pull too hard, you may disconnect a sensor by accident. If the harness has a short in it, the car should die like when you were driving it. If the car hasn't started since that day, the crankshaft position sensor may be bad.

it sound like you have a bad crank sensor when the sensor gets hot it open circuits inside the sensor and you loose spark if you have access to a noid light see if you are loosing injector pulse also if so then you know its a good chance its the crank sensor

1. check ASD relay
2. check crank sensor, you may need to replace it
Good Luck
SOURCE: CODES P0300 P0303
These codes are codes regarding failure. The code P0300 means repeated Engine Misfiring. The code P0303 means Repeated Misfiring of Cylinder Number 3.
Kindly contact a technician to get both checked. Their Heads must have been misplaced or broken due to misfiring.
Thank you sir, Have a nice day.
