I have a 2005 kia spectra , alternator and battery were just replaced four weeks ago . Battery light and brake light came on alerting me to these issues and went off as soon as parts were replaced . Car has run like a dream , but yesterday battery light and brake light came back on and car is responding as if the battery is dead ! Also the a/c was acting up before these events . What now ?
What now --you have to go to an accredited auto electrician to have the voltage regulator tested and the charging circuit tested for security
You have a problem with the electrics it could be a bad round or the live terminal lead to the battery, it could be shorting to ground this would damage the alternator and the battery. you would need to test the wires from the alternator B+ to the live on the battery and the earth from the alternator grounding bolts to the shell then check the live to negative with the battery off. a short in the circuit will just keep damaging the system.
