Cant find the fuse for my 12 volt aux. outlet. there is nothing listed in the manual

you have 2 fuse boxes one in the cab the other is in front in the hood.
Look at your manual under Fuses for more information.

How can you AVOID future problem?
the problem of burning fuses is because its too long connected for example your converter to reduce burning fuses what I do when I need to use it for my lap top I just plug it for a bit 10 mts then I turn it off n so on and on. hope this works for U thank you for your question.

check all fuses for a bad one or the plug could be burt out had to replace mine its a cheap part

check connection on rear of sockets make sure that it is connected and every time you plug things in the socket itself turns in the rear twisting the wires to a point where they could short each other out or the wire could have broke off

There are more than one fuse panels, have you checked the one under your hood
