SOURCE: when air condition is on floor board fills with

you need to go under the car and unplug they drain that comes out and runns down under the passenger side of the car.It is good to use light air pressure or put somthing like a long screwdriver or hanger up the tube to unclog it.The air would probably work the best but if you have too use the other methods be carefull not to damage the tube.

What are the effects of 2gallons of water in the gas tank? what has to be replaced, for it to run again

it is best to remove the water from the tank
this can be done by removing the outlet hose from the fuel pump and running the pump into a bucket
that will drain the tank and most of the water out
as water and fuel do not mix you will be able to drain the bucket back into the fuel tank as you will see the water in the bottom of the bucket
next you can put about 1 quart of methylated spirits into the tank
connect the fuel line back up and run the engine
the metho breaks down the surface tension of the water and it will go through the equipment and be burnt in the combustion process
there are products that you can put in the tank to do the job also
changing a fuel filter may help but generally fuel conditioners and clean fuel along with a good run (100 miles ) will clean out the system

My steering wheel is very hard to turn, what could be wrong?

This could get messy but I would start by removing the low pressure hose from the power steering pump (simple hose clamp) and attaching another hose to that so you can run it to a bucket then turn engine on and as its pouring out into bucket fill the reserve with new fluid shutting the engine off as it starts getting clear. Likely someone put the wrong type of fluid in there and contamination in the fluid or water condensation has frozen up in the lines so get the old stuff out and thats the easiest way withoiut making too much of a mess.

My portable air conditioner is leaking water from underneath ...I have had it 2yrs...I have never even had to empty it as it has always been dry...This problem has been soaking my apt...I have tried all...

All aircon units condense water, and if it's especially warm moist air in your apartment, the condensed water will overflow from the 'capture tank'. Check for a rubber bung/pipe behind the unit at floor level. Every portble AC unit will have one. Unplug the bung and empty it into a container. Best to do this on a table so that the container can be left on a chair beneath the machine. You may need a bucket.

Transmission fill, how do you fill

If adding from empty, (just installed new or used unit) put at least four or five quarts in (through dipstick tube). Then, start the engine, leave it in park on a level surface and continue filling 'till it reads full on the dipstick. After it's full put the rear on jackstands and run it in drive and let it shift gears, idle down and shut it off. Don't attempt to put it into park 'till the rear wheels stop turning. Then put it on the ground and re-check level.
If adding to a low unit or after a filter change, just fill on a level surface running till it reads full. In either case, when finished, drive it and when you return re-check level. Always check for leaks.

How to replace coolant for nissan altima 2006

Park the Nissan Altima on a flat surface and set the parking brake. Next, open the hood and check the external temperature of the radiator. If the radiator is warm to the touch, wait for the radiator to cool before you continue.

Twist the radiator cap one turn to relieve any pressure. Step back from the radiator and allow a few seconds to pass, and then completely remove the radiator cap.

Place a bucket or tray with at least a 2-gallon capacity underneath the radiator and below the drain plug. The drain plug on a Nissan Altima is on the passenger side bottom of the radiator.

Loosen the drain plug and let the old coolant drain completely into the bucket. Take care while loosening the drain plug, because it's plastic and can be brittle. Pour the old coolant into a sealable container for proper disposal later and put the bucket back under the drain plug opening.

Close the drain plug and pour distilled water into the radiator until it's full. Then, open the drain plug and let the water flow into the bucket. Keep repeating this procedure until the water runs clear and debris free into the bucket. You will need at least 3 gallons of distilled water.

Make sure to tighten the drain plug and fill the radiator with fresh coolant. Refill the radiator to within an inch of it overflowing. Check the drain plug and hoses for any possible leaks.

Start the Nissan Altima and turn the heater to the high setting. Let it run for about 10 minutes and shut the engine off. Check the coolant level and refill, if necessary. Finally, put the radiator cap on and close the hood.

2001 mitisuubishi galant when the AC is used the carpet under driver seat fills with water.

What your seeing is the condensation from the AC dripping in to the passenger compartment. In the condenser area of the AC unit is a small drain line, with time this can and will plug with debris, (bugs, dust, leaves ect) properly place the car on jackstands and locate the drain line, use a small fine wire (or long pipe cleaner) and run thru drain tube clearing the blockage. You mayhave to repeat several times as new debris gets in to the line.
PLease let me know if this had asisted.
Best regards,
Tom

My 2008 yaris every time i turn my ac water is coming down from underneath the dash in the passanger side

sounds like the condensor unit drainage pipe has become disconnected, these run to the underneath of the vehicle to obviously drain off condensation from the ac unit. youll have to remove surrounding trim panels until the pipes are exposed and reconnect. hope this helps

Top hose hot and bottom hose cool...replaced radiator, condenser auxillary fan unit/resistor, replaced harness (spliced) from aux fan unit to temp sensor in the radiator...fan wont work and I dont think...

sounds like your water pump is air bound ( there is a air bubble in your cooling system,or your water pump isn't turning.Bleed the cooling system by jacking car upso the antifreeze fill area is the highest point and run the engineat 1500 rpms add water if it goes down that tell you that the water pump is pulling. Also see if you have a air bleed on the cooling system.Keep the rpms up until you can't add anymore water then put cap back on before returning the engine to normal idle speed.
