start by check all fuses, then check for power at rear blower.if fuses are good and you have power then may have bad blower,if no power and fuses are good then may have bad resistor. hope this helps good luck.

yes the connecters on the blower are defects. after so many years they fall and not able to make proper contact. you most likely have to get the upgraded blower
SOURCE: Where is heater blower motor located on 1500
You have two blower motors on this one. The main one is located below the glove compartment, under two covers, which is the one I'll assume you want to access. The first one is the heater/ac assembly cover, and the second one is a round cover that hides only the blower motor and resistor. remove both, then unhook the wires from the blower resister that you see. You can then rotate the fan counterclockwise in order to remove it. If you need to get the fan off the motor, you can pry it off with two screwdrivers, or something similer. Reassembly is the reverse of disassembly. Hope this helps, and if you need help finding the second motor in the rear of the vehicle, let me know.

Remove two trim panels from just inside back window and just inside rear side door passenger side. They run down from the head liner. Remove seat belt bolt ( TORX HEAD ) also. Remove lower half of trim from just inside rear side door. You should see screws holding weel cover in place. The top under glass just lifts up slightly to remove entire cover. Just a few more screws and you can hinge the top cover of the duct and fan. You will now see the top half of the rear condenser and if you look down beside it you will see the expansion valve. This about as close as you will get to changing the valve though because the freon lines running to the condenser will be stuck so solidly you would have to destroy the lines on either side of the nut to seperate them. You cannot reach the valve without lifting the condenser from its tray and you cannot lift the condenser without removing the lines from it!!! Good luck!!!
