You'll find that in the side of the head, with a wire connected to it to the gauge/light.

SOURCE: my 2006 chyrsler 300 wont shift in gear, is there

Did you push the release with the ignition on and then try to shift while holding the button in? If so you may have to have it towed to your mechanic or have him visit you. Too many things can effect the safty interlock on the shifter to really cover here. One thing to check is the fuses, mainly for the brake lights. That is the power supply for the interlock solenoids.

I took my car to be diagnosed on the computer and it read that my 2001 chyrsler 300 m engine coolant temperture sensor is bad i need a diagram of where it is located

go to the autozone website and find temperature sensors for your car, then you will know what they look like. then go to their parts locator and that will show you where they are on the car, most likely screwed into a head on the engine.

note it most likely screws in and touches the coolant. so when you take the old one out, coolant will be coming out the hole until you screw the new one in. be ready for this and make sure it is still not hot, note the threads may be a plumbing type tapered thread so do not screw it in like a bolt.
