At 35,000 miles, no, I wouldn't worry about the hoses, or the belt. I have a 150,000 miles on my vehicle, and never changed either one.

check the fuses under the dash and under the hood

failing that go to auto zone they can show you the location and quote the parts price too
remem ber to turn on wipers and turn on ignition dont start the car look under hood listen for winding noise locate noise locate wiper motor

if making wiring noise remove and re conect wiper arms inside as they are prone to poping off if over loaded like when frozen to wind screen they pop the conector rather than burn the motor out ]

SOURCE: 2001 chevy cavalier fuse box

In the instrument panel fuse block there should be a fuse labeled RDO/INT LP. that is the radio and interior lamp fuse. If you have a factory stereo with a factory amp there will also be a fuse labeled AMP in the same fuse lock. Let me know if you have any questions and I'll do my best to answer them. Thank you for using!

1999 chevy prizm windshield washer fuse location?

If your windshield wipers are working than the fuse is good. The wiper and the washer use the same fuse.

The washer pump will have power to it all the time with the key in the on position. you can disconnect the connector and check this. The washer pump is grounded by the wiper switch. you can check the other wire for continuity to ground with the washer button depressed.

If there is power and ground at the connector than the pump is bad.
