SOURCE: my car radio stopped working

It takes a nano second to ruin today's electronics. I'd check the fuse for the radio before hitting tha panic button. You may be lucky and only blew the fuse If you are prone to leaving stuff on, I suggest at least once a month you should put your battery on a charger...The alternator can never completely charge a battery...it's designed to maintain the state of charge...not re-charge. This shortens battery life and overworks the alternator. Hope it's only a fuse and if it is a radio, be glad you didn't do more...I've seen everything including the computer get fried!!

SOURCE: 2005 FORD EXPLORER DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES 9318,

This really sounds like a problem with your battery. I know you said you checked it, but is it really putting out the appropriate voltage (12.66 volts) and CCAs? Even draining the battery once can damage it (especially in cold weather), and cold weather reduces the CCAs a battery can put out. A weak battery can cause those codes. When the vehicle hesitates to start, does that typically happen on colder mornings or after the car sat for longer periods of time? I would double-check your battery. If it's the original, it's near its end of life anyway.

2001 Ford 4 door was runningg great turned off went inside an hour later tried to start and it wouldn't turn over, also can't shift automatic in neutral. Tried to jump start thought it was dead...

I'm thinking its the battery. Heat kills batteries. You said it wont jump start. That's a dead ringer for a bad battery. It may have enough juice to power some things, but wont run the starter, or the fuel pump, or the ignition(spark). Try a new battery and let me know!

01 focus ztec..battery light comes on car runs the runs poorly then shuts off..let cool will start and run again for a while the repeats!

have you checked the fan/ serpentine belt to make sure that it isn't broke? if this just started happening, it is most likely the belt ( altenator and water pump run off the same belt)

2000 ford focus sedan 2.0 dohc ztec engine rear

check all battery leads and earth straps
"" car body and engen bay straps""
also check battery terminals are tight check its full of battery water too if its been low for a time bump it!
and have a ""drop meeter test"" done on the battery if its a bad battery it should show that up first time it could have cracked plates inside the battery its self, test by turning on head lights then hit starter, if every thing go's dead!!!! put ""good jump start"" battery on to car and try it again,,, all should work just fine then,,,,it could just be a flat battery?????

2003 focus won't start

Even though the radio works the battery is your problem. It doesnt have enough juice to start the car. you will have to take it out of the car and have it tested to make sure. Any auto parts store will test it free of charge. Poor quality cables will not jump a battery with that low of power. I learned that the hard way with my impala.

Ticking noise when trying to start car

Hi

Sounds like a flat battery !

Get a jump start, with a good heavy duty set of jump leads.

Then have your battery tested.

Good Luck !

A FixYa rating would be appreciated thanks. !

Runs rough once it warms up

With having that many miles and the light being on with a code of O2 sensor, I'd say start there. Make sure which O2 sensor it is first, pre or post convertor. It's getting close to another tune up, but check your plugs first.
