I got the cables switched when I jumped my 2006 chrysler 300 touring. The transmission is stuck in a low gear, the speedometer doesn't work, the power windows don't work, the abs light is on, the brake light is on, etc... I used a tester and got the following error codes: u0121, u1120, p0158. It seems more than just the abs sensor. My feeling is that the PCM is fried... What is it?

Google the codes for your vehicle

Lost communication with the pcm, buss & other modules

Check all your fuses, fusible links & any ties bars in or under
the fuse & distribution boxes

Would help to have a factory wiring diagram for your testing

It sounds like it's your speed sensor in your transmission. It's an easy fix. Good luck

SOURCE: 2006 chrysler 300 transmission slips

Low on transmission fluid. The tranny fluid can only be checked by Chrysler, there is no dip stick, because you have to know the motor temp to be able to know where the fluid should register on the dip stick. Crazy!
Its not slipping now, but shifts hard. Has to be looked at by Chrysler again, but its done this since Ive had it, so I didnt realize it was a problem....

SOURCE: I have malfunction light in

This fault is about the O2 sensor on Bank2, Spot2. There are about 5 things which can be wrong with the car. Since you have a scanner, I want to direct you to a Website, 2carpros.com/questions Chrysler 300/O2 results

You may have to reword the search, but I found another car like yours with the same problem. This article is good because it gives the test voltage for each potential problem and you verify the wiring is correct before buying an O2 sensor. It also discusses the PCM as a potential problem.

I would check the connector for the PCM first for corrosion, then do the rest of the tests. If you have to remove the O2 sensor, sometimes you need to heat it to remove it from the fitting and you need a sensor socket.

I usually don't redirect a client to another site, but the material will give you the best chance at finding your problem. I hope you find my solution very helpful in getting your car fixed.

SOURCE: I just had the following done to my car: * New

They had a problem with the ground to the sensors under the hood.
If you have a wiring diagram i would splice into the ground that feeds all of the sensors you are talking about and run a new ground back to the battery negative and see if that quiets everything down from jumping tack to the code showing up.

My Chrysler 300 gear shifter moves freely, but will not move out of low gear

Check the shift cable where it attaches to the transmission. While moving the shifter, watch to see if the transmission is moving. If not, then check the connection on the shifter lever.

2005 Chrysler 300 touring code p0717

That code covers a lot of different transmission problems, but the one that you can do something about is the transmission speed sensor. Does your speedometer work? If yes there may be a problem in the transmission valve body and you need to visit a transmission shop. I don't see any Tech Bulletins on this. Look at the wiring on the right side of the transmission is everything plugged in and if yes it may be the sensor itself.

I have a 2005 Chrysler 300, As I shifted the car from park to reverse I heard and felt a pop in the gear shift. The gear shift moves but the car is stuck in low.

Go to the Prindle switch where the cable meets the transmission and check if it has not unhooked. Move the shifter all the way to the Park position and adjust/tighten.

It is stuck in park

ok first step is to take off the rubber cover (change holder) on the shifter. there is a pink tab push the pink tab down with a long screw driver. If it still is stuck in park the interlock spring is broken in the shifter u would need a shifter assembly 99% of the time this is the problem good luck.
