1999 Ford Escort zx2 that 3 times stopped running after a sharp turn while accelerating. Would not restart for about 30 minutes as if out of fuel, then started and ran Help!

Check engine oil for correct level. In a sharp turn, oil will slosh causing a low oil fault, disabling ignition. This engine has a low oil sensor in the oil pan. Check oil often.

This sounds like your cooling fan isn't turning on. One very easy way to test this is to unplug the coolant sensor. On top of the thermostat housing (the plastic box your upper radiator hose runs to) there is a sensor with two wires you can easily see. Unplug this sensor while the car is running and the cooling fan should turn on within a few seconds. If it does not, then you have an issue with the cooling fan. Likely the fan needs to be replaced. If it does come on, then you should replace that sensor you just unplugged. I would also make sure you are getting hot air through the heater vents to verify the water pump is circulating coolant.

I have a 99 Ford escort zx2 and the enigne quit while is was driv

This is a common problem for a crankshaft sensor failure. When it fails, the engine can not start since the ECM doesn't know the proper position of the crankshaft to give ignition according to TDC (top dead Center). Therefore it doesn't matter how strong your battery is, it won't fire. The fire is only happens when an ignition happens at the highest compression point when a piston is at top and this is reported by the crankshaft sensor. Have this checked out and replaced. Good luck.

P0300 Random Misfire

Misfires can be caused by worn or fouled spark plugs, a weak spark (weak coil, bad spark plug wire), loss of compression, vacuum leaks, anything that causes an unusually lean fuel mixture (lean misfire), an EGR valve that is stuck open, dirty fuel injectors, low fuel pressure, or even bad fuel.

A Random Misfire code usually indicates a vacuum leak or bad gas.

NOTE: If a misfire in a specific cylinder should lead you to check the spark plug, fuel injector and compression.
