This is located under the hood, close to the battery on the fender, passinger side. Look at the Positive cable from the battery and follow it to the relay.

SOURCE: im trying to locate the starter for 1994 jeep grand cherokee , see if its easy to replace, and also the location of the starter relay

starter relay is in power distribution center near battery. don't know which engine you have, but if you flollow the positive cable on the battery, it will lead you to the starter. Most are not difficult to replace, depends on how much experience you have. One tip...dont overtighten wire connections on starter the solenoid cover is plastic and can break.

SOURCE: 1994 Ford Escort, will not start. i have replaced

hi,
set the parking brake and make sure its in neutral then
try to bypass the ignition switch by jumping the starter relay under the hood. take the small wire off the relay and use a 2 foot piece of wire to go from the positive battery terminal to the terminal on the starter relay you just unplugged. if it turns over and if its a manual transmission the clutch pedal interlock switch may be busted, on the clutch pedal theres a small switch that senses the pedal is to the floor and it wont start. you can try to bypass that with a simple jumper wire. lastly if neither of those do it then you may have to drop the steering column and put a new ignition switch in it.

Not starting which relay controls fuel pump

1994 ford Bronco was starting and running fine. My daughter drove it 3 miles to school that morning then a few hours later she went to start it and it would'nt start. The door chime and all the dome lights, lights on dash lite up as normal and when you turned the key to (start) position you could hear the fuel pump then it just would click and not turn over and start. Jumped the battery that didn't work. Had it towed home and tried a few more times that night to get it to start but no luck. Next afternoon went to check it out again and for the heck of it thought id try starting it. Would'nt ya know it..It STARTED right up? After checking Battery and solenoid..etc I thought it was the starter but now im not sure.

My 89 ford bronco 2 doesn't want to turn over.

Battery terminal connection clean?
Starter selenoid clicking? - if not, wire from battery has a bad connection. If yes, starter has bad connection.
Try bypassing the starter relay (selenoid) with a jumper cable... does it turn over? If yes, replace the relay, if no, check the starter. A junkyard replacement should be a cheap fix.
