SOURCE: chevy steering wheel controls

You first have to disarm and remove the air bag (unscrews with bolts from behind the steering wheel) and then you will see the screws for the switches. Only the silverado awitches will work.

SOURCE: how to replace inside door handle on passenger on 1998 chevy silv

Remove screw from inside door grab handle. Remove door panel by carefully prying out plastic clips. Drill or chisel off pop rivets holding the handle on. Pull handle out far enough to disconnect linkage and remove handle. Install new handle and secure to metal panel with new pop rivets or sheet metal screws. It may be easier to reconnect linkages by removing the metal panel also.

I cannot locate the timing connector on my 94 Chevy Silverado 8 cyl manual engine class K. All the videos show it under the cover at rear left of engine compartment but I do not seem to have the same...

This truck should have the tan wire. You have to remove the plastic cover on the passenger side of the firewall, which is labeled with something like "fuse relay center" to see it. The plastic cover is held on with two or three plastic nuts. Unplug the single tan wire, the check engine light will come on, and you can then set your base timing, which is normally TDC on these engines. It's there, you just have to pull that plastic cover to see it.

96 chevy truck, fuel pump relay switch (located under the hood, driver's side wheel well) keeps shorting out and melting fuse panel

I would replace the fuel pump and the fuel pump connector, both have problems in this year that cause excessive current draw and blow the fuse and overheat the system. If the relay socket terminals are discolored from heat that must be replaced as well. Of course before replacing any parts have a GM dealer confirm the problems i have guessed are to the cause.

Cant get power anywhere on 1992 chevy 2500 pickup no lights nothing has brand new battery

Check your ground cable. It should go to the motor and two the chassi (bolted to a fender).

Look for fuseable links. They always seem to move. They are about a 10 gauge sized wire with a plastic collor on it near the end. There can be some coming off the battery cable at the starter, on a junction block mounted on the firewall (If I remember right your 92 will have a cover on the passenger side firewall and I think they are under that) or near the battery.

Don't just look at the links (the fuse is actually the wire. It melts away when there is a circuit problem), tug a bit on them. They will corrode on the inside of the plastic collor and the wire may not be melted away but the connection inside can be bad.
If a link is bad, DO NOT REPLACE WITH A REGULAR FUSE. I seen people do that and a fuse, like found in the interior fuse panel, creates a resistance. You don't want to turn a 10 gauge wire into a small wire like found in a fuse. Napa auto parts has fuseable link wire. A but splicer and a ring splice would also be needed.

If the links are good then you need to check the bulk head connector on the drivers side firewall. The battery power will go through that inside the vehicle.

2006 chevy silverado 2500 4wd a/c fan will not blow, fuses chek good

look under the dash on the passenger side and you will see the blower motor, unplug the electrical connector and inspect it take special notice of the third pin from the left. they seem to have a common problem in that it melts the feed wire to the blower motor, a replacement plug kit can be found at most autoparts stores.

Noises and Vibrations

maybe its a wheel bearing? and when you turn it puts extra weight on it and makes it loud. that would also cause your tire to wobble. jack up that side of the truck and see if the tire is loose. if the lugs are tight and you can move the tire then you need a wheel bearing. its very dangerous to drive with a bad bearing cause it could cause your tire to fall off.
