SOURCE: pull to the left, Brakes

Sounds like it was pulling before the brake job...if so the only thing you didn't replace was the rotors, I assume you turned them? and did you see hard spots on the rotor? discolored area that didn't cut the same......switch the rotors left to right and see if the problem moves or just replace them if they've been cut twice.

SOURCE: antilock brake system in 1992 dodge grand caravan

Recall is a recall, doesnt matter who the owner is. CAll the dealership tell them that you have this year and model and make and they will ask for the VIN and give it to them. If it comes up in the system that it falls under the recall, then have it towed to the shop and tell them that it is a recall repair and make sure it is noted on the paper work

2001 Dodge van 3500 losing brake fluid but can't tell where

Most likely you have a cylinder in the rear leaking, and it's just slinging it off as you go. Your van should have front disc brakes and rear drum. Cylinders are normally $10 to $20 each. Wouldn't hurt to inspect both

2004 Dodge the longer you drive the tighter and hotter the brakes get.

all dodge caravans from 2002 through 2011 have known problems with sticking calipers. if you google caravan brake problems you will see all the complaints. there are TBI's and recalls on them. I have a 2005 dodge caravan in my garage with all 4 calipers locked up. It is a good idea to replace the brake pads with the best ones and new rotors to

There is brake fluid squirting out from under my van, it's not coming from either of the brake lines but i had a person to tell me that it may be the seal or either the booster, what do you think?

If there is brake fluid squirting out under the van when You press the brakes, the most likely cause is a ruptured brake line. There are seals on the calipers where the piston sits, but if that were leaking your rotors would be getting soaked. I wouild jack up the front end and using jack stands for safety, have someone wearing safety glasses, observe where the leak is when you press the brake pedal.

I have a dodge ram 250 van 1987, front brakes are locking up by themselves , not touching the pedal,, when moving until the van stops completely ,, not able to move because front wheel are locked or when...

Most often that condition is caused by the rubber hoses that connect the caliper to the "hard" brake lines at the chassis. The hose may appear good but internally it collapses and prevents pressure from releasing. After correcting the problem be sure to replace the front pads as likely they are burned. If the pedal pulsates replace the front rotors as well, or, if they are still in relatively good shape, have them re-surfaced.

1998 Dodge Caravan New brakes. Front Axel removed to get to power steering pump to remove it. Got van back brakes felt strange had to hit them hard car pulled infront of me. ABS light came on. brakes...

Bad brake master cylinder could cause this, It will start leaking internally and not build up pressure. Will happen just do to age, will need to replace it and bleed brake system.

How do you fix sticking caliper pistons for a 1987 dodge mini ram van

If its the piston thats sticking you can purchase a kit for it but your probably better off buying the caliper. If the caliper is sticking and not sliding back and forth you need to buy a brake hardware kit for it. From my experience the brake hose usally collapses on the inside and causes it to stick you might want to check this out.

1999 Dodge Ram 1500 conversion van rear brake hammering

Are the brake shoes on right, there are two size shoes, One shoe has a longer brake lining then the other. The short brake lining is towards the front of the van and the longer brake lining is towards the rear. The rear brakes also may need to be adjusted, you can do that by going in revers in a empty parking lot and push the brakes as hard as you can to stop the van. Don't give your self a whip lash, just push down gradually and as far to the floor you can about 7 to 10 times. The self adjusters should adjust the brake on both sides, try this first before you take the brakes apart again. It may just need a adjustment and after that check the brake fluid in the master cylinder. Good luck and hope this helps. Keep me posted, be glad to help

Can't find where/how to bleed back brakes 2000 dodge grand caravan

The problem isn't at your brake calipers. Your rotors have a slight warp to them causing your vibration when you stop.
