Where is the turn signal relay on a 2001 Honda Civic?

The turn signals will work sometimes mainly not work. Sometimes they will blink once then go off. My hazard lights are working, and so are the running lights and head lights.

The problem is almost certainly the flasher relay. The turn signals and 4-ways use a separate flasher.

Look in your owners manual for location in the relay box.

If you don't have owner or service manual, and you can find the box, they are usually labeled on the lid.

If you can't find the relays (under the hood) then follow the auto zone advice.

At ozone will probably change it for you if you ask.

SOURCE: turn signals and hazards won't work

Was there any electrical issues other than this? Was there anything done to replace an electrical part or a stereo, gps, or other devices added to your car? Was a wire spliced or any wires cut that your aware of? Maybe the tail lights wiring have been altered to add as a source for connecting a trailer wiring harness? Try removing the **** shell around the ignition and carefully inspect the wiring in and around for loose, faulty or wires that may have been cut. Youll want to disconnect the battery first so you wont accidently create a short or spark that could create a bigger problem! Inspect your turn signal switch while you have the **** shell removed and make sure the parts are all intact and functioning, as well as the hazard switch. Could also be that theres simply a wire or wiring harness that had been disconnected while someone was working on another area related to the area where the problem is occuring. Hope this info is helpful or at least leads you in the direction of locating the problem.

Take your car to an autozone store. Ask them to sell you a new hazard light flasher and help you install it. They assist for free.

Check fuses.. There is a fuse that controls that. Marker lights and signal lights will still work just not blink.

The turn signal switch and 4 way flashers have the relays built inside. If fuses and flasher is good, then switch is bad.

What part needs fixed when my turn signal blinker blinnks very fast and sometimes not at all.If I put pressure on the turn arm it will stop sometimes or clicking my high beams on or off sets it right

Flashing too fast means that at least one exterior bulb isn't working. IF its an intermittent problem, once bulb could not be making connection at times. next time its flashing fast, stop the car and look to see which bulb isn't working. Replace that bulb, clean the socket at the same time

Turn signal flasher relay location in

Turn signals use what is called a flasher to regulate the speed at which the lamps turn on and off. Usually mounted in the fuse box. I have attached the replacement model for a 1996 Roadie. Should take all of 15 seconds to replace.

My turn lights sometimes blink and sometimes doesnt

First when you notice that it's not working, say when your making a right hand turn, push up a little bit on the turn signal switch and see if it starts blinking. If that happens you can have someone take it apart and clean the contacts, if it does nothing than your signal relay is on the fritz and needs to be replaced. Good luck!
