Add a ground wire to the side of the wipermotor on the side with no rubber mounts.

I had that happen to my 98 chevy blazer so I did some research on the internet. its either the wiper motor or the pulse board( an electronic circuit board in the wiper motor) in the motor the new wiper motors are about 80.00 at advance and the pulse boards are about 30.00 if the wipers come on sometimes it is the pulse board.If they don't come on at all it's the motor.(which comes with the pulse board inside already) hope this helps.

Sounds like the wiper motor "transmission" has broken or malfunctioned. Many wipers "park" when turned off. That additional movement, lowering themselves onto their rests, is made possible by mechanics in the drive transmission portion of the windshield wiper motor assembly. Probably needs service or replacement. Look for the assembly under the hood on the firewall likely near the top edge adjacent to one of the wiper arm locations.

Horn&trunsigle &wipers quit working
Since all three work independantly of each other, you have a short somewhere. Replace all fuses and see if they short out again. If so, you need to find the short before putting in the fuses again.

Where is the wiper resistor?
the variable resistor for the wipers Is the switch you use to trun it on and off , from fast to slow or change the speed. Yet the resistor is built into the switc. Its called a variable resistor or switching controller. Its better you dont attempt repairs your self as it sues the came harness as your ignition !!!!!... Better just have an autoeletrician fix it its cheap...

My wiper trun on but when i shut them off they stay in the middle of the window
The wiper crank arm that is bolted to the wiper motor needs replaced. Also there is a tab on the wiper motor bracket that gets bent when the arm goes bad. Bend the tab back up so the new arm will contact the tab and the wipers will go down down when they park instead of up.
