Where is the thermostat located on the 2005 saturn

You can't just replace it because it need programming for that car. It have to be programmed with the VIN Number and the mileage. There are very few reasons that you would ever change an ECU. The number is on a paper sticker on the outside.

the big fuse box is under the hood and the little fuse box is located under dash just to the left of the steering wheel have a wonderful day

follow the upper radiator hose to where it meets the motor... that's our thermostat housing. your thermostat is in there.

I am not a mechanic and have had no problems with my 2005 Ion-2 but at msn/autos I see that these can exhibit a starting problem because of the ignition switch which they recommend replacing. The part is around $40 & the labor is 1 hr.
