If its the electrical type, start with checking the switch for contact, check wiring to it has power or not, then check for blown fuse. Then check the electrical wire and pc in the trunk -- parts do fail.

When the clock spring breaks the cruse control and horn will not work and the air bag light stays on. Not this? check fuses

There are two fuse boxes. The first, called the Integrated Power Module, is in the engine compartment. The second, called the Rear Power Distribution Center, is in the trunk under the spare tire access panel.

You should have an owners manual in the Flovent box. Search in the index for fuses. There should be a couple for the radio circuit. Locate and check all the fuses for the radio. If none of the radio fuses are blown than the problem may be a little more serious, possible a bad radio unit.
