I suggest either a "Haynes" or "Chilton" repair manual. They are both very informative concerning complete engine tear down.

You need a spring compressing tool tool to unload the spring from the strut. Very dangerous, would suggest a shop to do this.

How do i remove front hub

hello anon.
2wd or 4wd car?, this Counts big time? i toss coin; land 4wd.
The USA car can be Vitara or Grand Vitara. and cut in dates vary for that too.
the 2002 has no end locking hubs.
so you must mean front wheel bearing hubs.
ok its easy with tools.

GOT TOOLS?
http://www.fixkick.com/hubs/FW_BEARINGS.html#newer

to be accurate i need full spec on car
country
engine sizes. and if 2wd or 4wd.

my guess is your car has the unified hubs. (bearings can not be removed)
you unbolt it.
you put the new hub on
you torque it to 123-180 Ft/lbs, this is the running torque not a preload)
if not, it will fail fast.

that page even has the FSM chapter page there. to see.
from a real Suzuki, 2004.
can be seen tool, at alldata.com
or at suzuki pit stop , dot com (google it) its there.

Broken subframeon my esteem. Is there a recall or any compensation. The car was in good shape and now it seems to be worthless. This doesn't seem reasonable.

hello everybody,
I had the same problem on a 2000 suzuki esteem and I checked with the dealer. it looks like there are a lot of problems with the subframe, so suzuki extended the warranty to 12 years or 288 k. I know is a late answer, but might help somebody.

Install a new radiator "1999 Suzuki Vitara

Yes you need to remove the fan. I believe the fan is bolted by 10mm small bolts to the top of your radiator. Remove your transmission lines, drain the radiator, remove the hoses and overflow hose, unplug the fan, remove it, and you're left with the 2 brackets on the front crossmember on both sides of your hood latch. Remove the 2 brackets and your radiator should lift right out
Good luck!
