My chrysler 2006 300c has had the navigation system/radio system replaced,as well as a new nav cd.The nav works sometimes then you stop shut the car off and it wont work.It works about 50% of the time. I have seen the code P1 come up at times,any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. :)

This is because of the cs changer which is mounted in the boot of your cars , this happens when there is any vibration in the car or the wiring is shorted please get it checked .....................

to enter your code when the cd player displays error leave cd player switched on and after 20 mins or so i will display 0000 then you will be able to enter your code this happens when some 1 has entered the wrong code

I had the same problem, and then I figured it out. I unhooked the dvd rom opened up the unit and noticed there were resistors on the board which were burned out and the inside of the housing showed slight signs of oxidation. I came to the conclusion that since the unit was mounted in the trunk the unit malfunctioned from water intrusion or moisture, which shorted out the board. Now I'm searching the web to see if I can find a Denso repair facility.
