SOURCE: how do I change the spark plugs on my 1999 SAAB

There is a top panel between the 2 overhead cams that holds all the ignition wiring that is bolted in with saab hex head screws.
Once these are undone you will lift this panel off, I would suggest leaving the wiring connected and then you will see the 4 plugs underneath like most normal cars.
Make sure they are the correct ones though

SOURCE: I have a 1999 Saab 9-5. The fan blower doesn't

The fan is located under the windsheild wipers. The windsheild wipers will have to be removed. Then remove the plastic shroud and wiper motor and assembly. The fan is located in the middle under the windsheild. If your feeling the AC you can check the stepping units located on the AC unit behind the front console under the dash.....KEH

Have a 1999 9-3 saab. Low beam headlights work, but not the high beam. Replaced bulb, but have the same problem. Can someone help resolve this issue?

If it is anything like the 9-5 Saab it is probably the relay in the black relay box under the hood. It is a large orange one on the 9-5. Should be able to locate from diagram on relay box lid if yours is not orange. Real cheap fix. Can get relays on eBay.

Where is engine air filter located in 1999 saab 9-5? I want to replace the filter.

Behind the wheel well liner in front of the passenger front wheel; you would gain access to the filter box cover from the bottom.

How do I change the spark plugs on my 1999 SAAB 9-3? Do I have to lift the engine or is there an easy way to access the removal and installation of the plugs?

Remove the four screws from the ignition cassette located in the center of the valve cover. The sparkplugs are underneath it.

Saab 9-3 1999 convertible

On 1999 9-3 models there is a fuel filter located under the pass rear door. However if this was plugged it would not kick back in after a short time. Typical suspects are crankshaft position sensor which will work well on a cold engine and intermittently cut off and on when the engine is hot. Its a cheap sensor, and very easy to change. Possibly check condition of spark plugs and the DI cassette as well. Also check function of Fuel pressure regulator. Any fault codes stored (CEL on?)
