Change passenger side engine moto mount Pontiac

Could be an engine mount that's failed? or is this a knock while you drive. If so check CV joint/s.

you have to figure out where the leak is first and u cam add water while running just dont do it when car is hot

normally the seat tracks are bolted to the floor or riser. It is possible that when the seat was moved forward the track moved over the head of a mounting bolt and will not return. check for interference between track and rail while trying to return seat.

you need a engine lift or chain hoist to take weight off the engine, to change engine mount should not take no more than a hour thirty minutes, or less depend on skill and right tools,you need haynes manual to show you engine mounts location.if this is your first time have friend around dont work on vechicle alone.

The torque strut, which is mounted underneath on the passenger side is what controls the front to back movement of the engine. The engine will shift slightly with a healthy torque strut, but shouldn't move more that an inch or so. The torqu strut is easily changed, but you will want the front wheels off the ground as you will have to manipulate the motor somewhat to get the bolts started.

I do believe it is behind the inner fender, infront of the passenger side front tire.

You did not specify the engine size but I looked them both up.They take 5w-30 and both take 4 qts.Hope this helps.

NO ITS NOT COMMOM FOR YOUR CAR BUT IF THE IMPACT IS JUST HIGH ENOUGH AND WITHIN 30 DEGREES OF THE CENTER OF THE CAR AND OVER 15MPH IT WILL DEPLOY

The evaporator drain is plugged with debris and filling up the heater case. Remove the 90 degree elbow and clear the drain hole at the case.(pencil or piece of wire) You will know that's it when it dumps out a half gallon on the floor. Be sure to reinstall the elbow to keep out rain/ road spray.
