I have a 92 Mazda protege. U have to drive it with both feet even though it's an automatic and it will died on u as ur driving down the road. It will restart after sometime of it setting or sometimes it will start right back up. It is also only getting half the fuel mileage it should b getting

It is ignition related,check the ecm for trouble codes,then I would do a complete tune-up and if that doen't fix it then check the crank sensor which is what it sounds like anyway but it's cheaper to do a tune-up first just incase
