Ford quit making the Ranger in 2011. The code refers to the transfer case and the motor that engages the front drive shaft may be stuck or it may be the transfer case control module. You can try tapping on the motor on the transfer case to see if the contact plate is the problem.

metal particles on the trigger wheel sensor of the rear differential case, this causes a loose of signal and the light to come on. also a broken tooth on the trigger wheel inside the diff can cause this or a dirty/corroded connection to the sensor from water intrusion.

Whats the tallest diff ratio made for the rear diff on a ford courier? It doesn't matter petrol or diesel.

well, look that up at FORD parts site.
see what was offered, then.
no year car told (zero car info provided, just "courier"
no country told, (cars not the same world wide)
no transmission told. stick or auto and gear count.
and most cars 1995 up, have a PCM and it TCm side will not like a wrong axle ratio ever.
this is the only post here I thing lacking year, wow.

courier 1952 to 2013 then came RANGER
some are Mazda B-Series,

nobody can guess any of this, 60+ year range of cars.

Diff lock flashing while driving

I am confused, are you sure it's not the MIL light? if it is the MIL (check engine) light flashing, then you have a severe misfire and you should not drive your truck because you would be killing your catalitic converter. if there is a diff light i would go to autozone and get a free code check.

Hello, we replaced the instrument cluster light bulbs on my 1997 Ford F150. As part of the operation we removed the dials on the instrument panel (didn't need to do that!) now all of the dials read...

no there isnt a way to reset the the instrument cluster back to zero if your talking about how many miles the vehicle has travelled in its lifetime...you will have to remove the dials and reposition them again...either tht or take it to ford and get some proffesional assistance...
