I rebuilt the TBI and Put in a new Computer and checked all fuses and grounds what should I do next. ? I put in new MSD Coil.
If you do not have spark, ignore all the TBI and computer controls. This vehicle has an ignition module and a pick-up coil to make spark. The spark timing is somewhat controlled by a knock sensor and module. This is an early computer controlled system and it mainly controls gasoline mixture into the engine. The distributor and ignition system consists of a conventional ignition module mounted in the distributor, a pickup coil, and a standard high energy ignition coil. Best to get a HAYNES manual for about 12 bucks and go to the troubleshooting section for no spark. BTW If you have spark and a can of carburetor cleaner, you can usually get any engine to temporarily run off the carburetor cleaner sprayed into the intake or throttle body.
Check if you have spark (coil or ignition problem) Next consider what you did when rebuilding the TBI as there may be parts that will only operate in one way or settings that have to be adjusted. Lastly is the new ECM compatible with the system (immobiliser) Use a scanner to reset the ecm program

You need power on both sides of the coil with key on engine off. With test light on neg side of coil you should get flashing light with engine cranking. No flashing indicates no trigger from ign module. No flashing can also mean the pick-up is faulty. To check pick-up dissconnect from module and use analoge meter set on ohms.Check meter movement during crank. If o/k check rotor for burn through.and change module.
