Yes i agree that it will be the water pump. they have a drill hole on the side of them so that when the internal seal fails and allows coolant into where the bearings of the pump are it can dribble out of that hole hopfully being noticed before the bearing itself seizes due to running in coolant. if that happens it usually will snap the waterpump in half and if it has a fan on the end of it it usually makes a mess of the radiator , hoses and even the bonnet. if it is the variety that is in behind a timing belt it can wipe out the timing belt and cause extensive damage due to the pistons hitting the valves when the timing belt fails due to the crook pump. either way I wouldn\'t stuff around with it and a pump is only cheap normally. if it is the behind the timing belt variety id be replacing the t belt and any idlers cam seals if needed too while your there. if it is the fan on the end of the pump shaft when new pump fitted check fan that it has no broken blades and the belt is at correct tension . if fitted with a viscous clutch fan check that it is operating as it should and hasn\'t lost the viscous clutch oil making it neally solid or out of balance as it will cause premature pump wear and failure. hope thats info for some one out there cheers
