I do not have experience with a Durango. I have experience with a Chevrolet. The hose on the filler line was large diameter and very hard. It would not slip off. I had to empty the gas tank, cut the large hose, and remove the small hose. Then I had to jack up the car, and lower the gas tank to the ground to have room to work. From there is was simple to remove and install parts, install the gas tank, and tank up.

How do I replace a fuel filler tube on a 2005 Pacifica?

I looked up fuel tank filler neck in online parts book. At the gas cap, is there three screws holding the top part of filler neck? If so, remove the screws. Lower part of filler neck, where it attaches to fuel tank, is there a hose with hose clamp? Take the hose clamp loose. Do you have to safely raise and support the vehicle in order to remove filler neck? W/o being able to look at it, I don't know? good luck

Dodge grand caravan 2005 filler neck replacement

1)Block front wheels.
2)Jack up the left rear tire off of the ground.
3)Put blocks up under the frame.
4)Take off the left rear tire.
5)Take out the plastic liner in the fender well that covers the fuel filler neck.
6)Loosen up the hose clamps on the rubber fuel filler hoses. (at the neck side); once the clamps are off plan on buying new ones. This next part of the job is VERY IMPORTANT! use a flat screwdriver and pry 360 degrees all around the rubber filler neck hoses. (they get kinda glued on from being on there so long). Next Get some PB Blaster lube or WD-40 (it has to have the small red squirt hose) and spray the lube up in between the hoses while you pry around. the more you do this the easyer it will be to pull the metal filler neck pipe out.
7)Now its time to take out the 4 bolts that hold the pipe on.
Use a 10mm socket and extension to take out 4 bolts up top behind the fuel filler door.
8)Pull the filler neck out and put everything back together the way it came apart and your done!

What is the part you putgas into which flows to the fuel tank

It's called the filler neck and hose. The hose clamps onto the filler neck and to the opening in the tank.

Dodge dakota 2005 -check engine light(gas cap)gas cap was replaced.Fuel spills out when filling tank.Fuel lines were smoked and no clog was found.

There is a check valve in the filler hose to stop fuel from coming out seems yours might be stuck , run a metal coat hangers inside the filler neck while prying open the little fill flap. see if that helps OR you are not or have no VENT to AIR in your evap system causing excessive tank pressure.

Radiator

the upper rad hose goes from the rad to the thermostate housing. this hose is @2-21/2" the lower hose same size goes from lower rad to water pump. There is a 5/8 hose from water pump to thermostate housing called bypass hose. and you have two hoses from water pump and intake to the heater core. hope this helps if not let me know thanks
