To my knowledge, there is no unlock code for Dodge/Chrysler radios. They are plug and play. I haven't done new ones, but all the ones I have done require no reset. up to 2007.

You can try replacing the fuse in the back if there is one or completely unplugging the radio to reset it, not the battery.
On my Neon you enter the 4 digit code using the channel preset buttons if your code is say 2435 press channel 2, then channel 4, channel 3 & channel 5 it should then fire up ok.

Unfortunatly you will have to bring the radio to the chrysler dealer for the code. This is not a guarenteed but when I had to replace my battery in my acura, I had to goto the dealer to get my stero unlocked. They charged me about 50 bucks. Hope this helps.
