Question about 2000 Dodge Ram 1500 Truck
Driving in the rain after no rain for at least 12 months and truck shifted into 1st gear. It would not shift to 2nd or 3rd gear. However, Dodge Ram would shift into reverse. Truck was running great--just happened w/o any warning.

You have two sensors on the drivers side of your transmission. INPUT sensor and OUTPUT sensor. I believe the one you need is the INPUT sensor. Your check engine light should be on. If you can get it scanned your trucks computer will tell you what the problem is. GOOD LUCK FRIEND.
