It seems to be a ground defect on right side. Do you have the same bulb's number . What about the front flasher. remove right rear lamp assembly remove connector measure voltage between ground and current .reconnect it measure voltage at bulb socket. you should find your problems
hope it helps

The left rear tail light don't work the license plate light don't work. The left rear turn signal, back up,and brake lights all work ,all the lights on the right side rear work. 06 trailblazer chevy.

My guess is one of those lamps is burned out, therefore not sending current to the next. My second guess is that the license plate light is last in line, so I would start with the left tail light

I have a 94 Chevy C1500 and the right side brake light and blinker are not working. The tail light and reverse light work though, and the right front blinker works but it blinks twice as fast as it...

It could be a bad multifunction (turn signal) switch. The way that switch works, it is possible that it can turn on the front blinker and not the rear one. It also cancels the brake circuit so the turn signal can work with the brake pedal depressed.

However, a more likely cause would be a break in the YELLOW/BROWN wire at the rear of the truck. It is common for the connector to get corroded at the left rear frame area where the bed harness connects to the vehicle harness. If you have trailer connections spliced into the wiring harness, these connections are also prime candidates for corrosion. I would look there first. Inspect these harnesses thoroughly all the way up and into the tail light assembly.

If the wires under the back of the truck look good, then I would check for power coming out of the turn signal switch. The wire at the turn signal switch is plain YELLOW (with no brown tracer). It is Pin (M) on the turn signal switch connector. The front signal is a LIGHT BLUE wire at the turn signal switch Pin (H). If you probe these with a test lamp, they should both work the same except the yellow wire will be hot with the brake pedal depressed and the switch NOT in the left turn position. If there is no power at the switch connector, replace the switch.

License plate lights do not work. Bulbs changed still does not work. The right brake light does not work. Changed bulb and plug. Turning signals work, tail lights work. All works on the left side.

Well for the license plat you might wanna check the fuse. and the brake light if one works fine then I'm sure you need a new bulb in the other side. Good luck

Brake light, reverse light and turn signal issues

Hello. The symptoms you are describing are likely due to a poor ground. Temporarily install a new ground wire by securing a piece of copper wire to the frame with a self tapping screw. Use this ground wire along with the hot wire to see if each of these lights works. If it does, trace the ground wire back to the frame, unscrew it and clean up the metal with emery cloth so you reestablish a good ground.
