This morning on way home on interstate the engine cut out the abs light came on then engine took off running again the abs light stayed on I pushed in the clutch shut off engine restarted it the abs light stayed off it did this two different times any ideas

Don't worry about it until you drive the truck. Complete the brake bleeding then drive it. If it stays on then you are going to have to have the codes pulled
If automatic transmission wont work engine block's are not the same, if stander transmission you could swap out bell housing held on with four bolt's from one to the other. Good luck and hope this was very helpful.
Sometimes this works, ABS light on, check engine light on, speedometer not working, and the automatics start shifting hard or not shifting at all? One bolt and the part is cheap, its weird how one part controls so much.
the vehicle gets its speed reading fom the rear wheel speed sensor mounted in the top of the rear axle housing.this sensor may have gone bad...are the abs light or check engine light on
