SOURCE: no spark at all!
you need to check the fuses again under the hood and under the dash if all are good look for a bad fuse link if you melted wires you had to blow fuses or fuse link

The after market CHMSL ( Center High Mount Stop Lamp ) is in the wire harness bundle on the driver's side frame rail, under the plastic cover. Some have found it easier to get to it in the driver's side kick panel. When you pull up the driver's side door sill, pull the carpet back, and you will find the grommet for getting into the cab of the truck
Here is the page from the EVTM for the Stop / Turn lamps that shows the after market CHMSL connection

On the battery side should be the blk/org (alternator wire) and yel/blk-w/fusible link with of course the positive battery cable, On the other big terminal should be the other yellows, for your small terminal marked with an "i" should be the red/blue if it has the small terminal, if not on the big terminal opposite of the battery.
The haynes manual isnt really much help with actually locating the starter. I know because i got the haynes manual to try and find the starter on my girlfriends 2000 focus. It tells you how to change it but not where it is located. I just changed the starter so ill give you the rundown. Underneath your car right where the headers connect to the exhaust there will be a black metal plate with 4 bolts about 4 inches wide and 6 inches long. The starter is behind that barely visible. Once you remove that metal plate you can clearly see the bottom of the starter with the starter solenoid on top. There are 3 bolts on the starter but you will only see the head of one bolt from the bottom. DO NOT remove that bolt first. Go to the top of the engine and remove the air hose from the air filter box. You will see 2 bolts that connect into the right side of the starter brace. It is a very tight space but once you get the bolts off now you can go underneath the car and hold the starter while you remove the last bolt. On my 2000 focus the wires dont give you much room for it to drop. My starter only dropped about an inch so you wont have much room to work with the wires which are located on the top of the starter at the right side of the solenoid. The wires lead into a plastic harness with 2 nuts on the right side of the plastic wire harness. Good Luck.
