I have a 2006 Nissa Xterra. Both rear passenger doors will not open. There is some motion in the door lock using either the key or Fob, but the doors will not budge from the inside or outside.

Key and fob plus trying to manually open/unlock.

Get Door To Open With Dead Battery So I can pop the Hood Switch

I imagine the obvious answer is to use a key in the door lock cylinder. The reason you have done this is because there is no door lock cylinder! You only have a fob is my guess, that electronically opens the doors. Dead battery..and the fob no longer works. Don't worry, examine your fob and there should be a way to open it. Carefully open the fob and surprise! There is a key inside of it! Now take that key and there ahould be a key lock cylinder above your rear license plate. You should be able to open your rear hatch. Now somewhere to the drivers side in the rear compartment there should be some sort of pull you can use which will open the drivers door. Hope that helps you out!

Vw golf mk4 my rear passenger door willnot open with central locking key system. i can't even open it from the inside, pull the door handle and the lock pin rises but door won't open. i believ

This worked for me on 2008 Mk5 Golf, after the rear passenger door would not open fro outside or inside.

Hold the inside door latch open and keep it extended, then with the key fob open and close the door locks (still holding the inside latch open). Keep locking and unlocking the door, then it made a kluck and it released.

Central locking working passenger door won't open

get remote checked wires might need re soldering or replace remote with new one. Cheapest place to purchase one is at a key cutting place or lock retailer.

Left keys in car and it locked itself just purchased car last week does it lock itself never had this problem need to get in wasn't given spare set

You mean you left the FOB in the car. Go to the rear corner of the side the FOB is on (just behind rear wheel of side the FOB is on). "Bounce" the car up and down 5 - 10 times. Try the door. FOB has small motion switch in it and it might move enough to activate "auto-open" for locks. This will only work if "auto-open" is enabled in "Options".
