Could b injecor seals but sometimes main diesel pump front seal can also leak. On some models allowing diesel to pass into sump via timing belt or chain

One of Your injectors seals are worn allowing the diesel to escape back up and get into the oil galleries. I would change all the seals. They cost around 40 pounds on ebay. Remember to use new bolts for the injector holders and the the rocker arms.

My 2007 sdi golf loses power when im driving and goes dead on me. something to do with the fuel, anyone can help?

first thing to do is put a can of redexe additive in the tank(full can to 1/2 tank)this may blow out any carbon buildup on the injectors etc.
once done, if no improvement,then get back to us.

You need to have the OBD codes scanned to establish for certain the cause of the light coming on. It is the only way to be 100% sure.

It has a bulb out monitoring system
and I believe that’s what was the message
