2004 chrysler pacifica stop running at stoplight. Will turn over but will not start.

It is very possible that the relay had just shorted out and over heated. But you would want to look closely at the wires under the fuse block to make sure they did not over heat and cause the insulation to melt away.Replace # 37 with a new one and try it ,if everything else looks ok.

This is an internal PCM failure code . The only test is to clear the code and if it resets to replace the PCM. this is covered by warranty for 8 years or 80,000 miles . So if you are under this its a free repair under warranty.

Trouble code p0685 vehicle wont start dont know what p0685 is please help

I cannot give you any specific help because you did not bother to mention YEAR, MAKE, MODEL, or ENGINE SIZE of the vehicle you are trying to get information on.

The "generic" description of Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) P0685 is: "ECM power control circuit malfunction."
Yup! this would DEFINATELY keep your engine from starting! It means that the ECM has no power to operate the engine management system. So, now you know the WHAT part of the equation. You must now diagnose, using the correct information for your particular vehicle, to find out the WHY.

What does the P done code mean in a Chrysler Pacifica?

'P' stands for powertrain-codes will be concerned with engine or trans and are generic, that is they are the same no matter the make of vehicle-OBDII protocol. I.E., a P0171 means a lean reading on bank 1, on a ford, chevy, volvo, toyota-universal general code for all makes and models.

Check Engine Light

If the light isn't flashing, it is safe to drive. If it is flashing, then catalytic converter damage can result. Have a parts store check the codes for you and come back and post the code.
