Just had it tested it came up as 52
Could be either or-I'm betting on the sensor though. Did it say which bank was putting out the code?
If so.
Bank 1 is the side of the engine that has the #1 cylinder. Bank 2 is the other side of engine.
possible causes are:
1= Heated Oxygen Sensor (H2OS) Bank 2, Sensor 1 harness is open shorted to ground
2- Heated Oxygen Sensor (H2OS) Bank 2, Sensor 1 circuit poor electrical connection
3- Faulty Heated Oxygen Sensor (H2OS) Bank 2 Sensor 1
4- Heated Oxygen Sensor (H2OS) Bank 2 Sensor 1 circuit fuse
5- Faulty Engine Control Module (ECM)
It has always been the heater in the O2 sensor. Replace it.
P0052 DTC trouble code may be caused by one or more of the following:
A short in the heater circuit in the sensor.
A failed O2 sensor heater.
Wiring/connectors broken/frayed leading to sensor and/or relay.
Failed PCM/ECM.
P0031....HO2S Heater Control Circuit Low (Bank 1 Sensor 1)
P0052....HO2S Heater Control Circuit High (Bank 2 Sensor 1)
