4.6L? Does it crank? Coil wires on? Are all the injector wires back in the right place? Did you check your fuses? Wires pinched? Ground wires back in place? Alternator plugged back in? Air box on and plugged in properly? Fuel rail on properly? Just retrace the steps you took last. It will be an "oh, yeah" moment, Paul

SOURCE: TEMPUTURE SENSOR BLEW OUT

I worked for a Ford dealer for 20 years, it is not a common problem, but it does happen, the recall was for coolant leaks at the molding seams of the manifold, I did almost all the manifolds that came through the door on the Mercure and Ford models that used a 4.6L V8. Your manifold can be repaired.

SOURCE: 2001 crown vic police..tempature sensor

I would suggest u use a machine shop for a more trustworthy fix. if the manifold was metal JB weld would work great, but an insert would be better and less likely to fail. As far as the failure goes it was most likely overtightened at the factory, it causes a small crack, expansion and contraction under pressure worked on that all these years, i am not a big fan of thermal plastic anything, 30 years of new car dealer wrenching experience tells me this.

P0307 code on a 2005 crown vic

Cylinder misfire on #7.could be bad spark plug,or bad coil.try replacing coil and plug at# 7. It is the second last plug on the driver's side. If you pull the coil out and there is antifreeze in the spark plug hole, you may have a bad intake gasket or cracked intake manifold and the antifreeze is shorting the coil out. In that case you may have to replace the intake manifold.

92 crown vic - temperature guage on the dash is not working...

0900c152801e4775.gif

The temperature gauge sending unit is located in the front section of the intake manifold, just to the right of the alternator on the 4.6L engines. Got this from autozones repair manuals

I had my intake manifold replace and my car started up then less tham 30 seconds my whole car shutoff. i found water in my oil pan drained it and replace all fluies and it still won't start up

water in oil pan? try taking out the spark plugs and turning car over. Is there coolant/water coming out? If so you need Head gaskets or intake gaskets weren't done properly. If this problem wasn't there before gaskets were done I'ld strongly suggest looking at intake gaskets again.

I got water coming out the back of my engine some one say its the freeze plug the guy i brought it from say its a hose 97 crown vic

there is a coolant hose that runs under the upper section of the intake manifold, this is the most likely source of the coolant leak, u can't really see the hose until u remove the pper intake..
