2003 Honda Accord shakes and kind of jumps (skips?) when idling. Perfectly fine while in motion but as I start to brake, the shaking comes and the whole car shakes. What could be causing this?

Could be caused by the air/fuel mixture caused by a vacuum module. Could try replacing the vacuum module.

SOURCE: vibration from the engine causing the whole car to shake.

sounds like the motor mounts are badley worn or possibly not allinged correctly also check the exhaust for contact with the body, if this is an automatic check your tourqe converter bolts and examine the flywheel with the cover off for out of square or vibration please rate -jeff

SOURCE: Honda Accord Vibrates

try swapping wheels front to rear. if same, then get alignment, they can
check for possible worn ball joints in the steering.
Cupped/Worn/Out-of-round/unbalanced Tires could also cause shaking.

SOURCE: honda accord ex 2001 check engine light suddenly came on, car started to idle roughly

If it's running rough, chances are that it's misfiring. If the Check Engine light is flashing/blinking, it is definitely misfiring.
If that's the case, drive it as little as possible... Or straight to the mechanic because the more you drive it while it's misfiring, the higher the chance is of you ruining your catalytic converter.

When my 1993 Honda Accord sedan is in drive gear and idle with my foot on the break the car starts to shake and seems as if it's going to cut off what could be the problem???

test it by using the park brake and not the foot brake
If it idles ok then the problem will be in the brake booster , valves or diaphragm

Question 1. My 2003 Honda accord vibrates especially when the AC is on and its on drive or neutral gear, but it does not vibrate/shake when its in motion.

Hello,
It sounds as if your Automatic Transmission is having issues. The first thing to do is check the Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF). This is covered in the Owner's Manual (should be in your glovebox??).

If the level is low, it will cause issues. Your ATF should be serviced every 30,000 miles.

While driving i stopped at a light the car started to shake then the tcs and check engine light came on its a 2001 honda accord coupe v-6, what could it be, it feels like it does not accelerate...

Does it only happen when you use the brakes? It could be a warped brake disc or a fault in the braking system. TCS and ABS use the brake system to operate and a fault could drag on the brakes killing your acceleration. Get it to a good mechanic soon so he can check it isn't a serious problem.

91 honda accord shakes when I put it in gear and step on brakes. Runs fine when I release brake. Otherwise runs smooth on road. Any suggestions?

IF IT SHAKES WHEN APPLYING BRAKE TO STOP, THEN YOUR ROTORS ARE WARPED AND SHOULD BE MACHINED TO MAKE TRUE AGAIN OR REPLACED, AND GOOD IDEA TO REPLACE BRAKE PADS AT SAME TIME.

Steering wheel is shaking when I brake

The problem lies in the front rotors. If the steering wheel is shaking without braking, then we need to break this up. If it's low speed(1-15 mph) then you have a tire that is coming apart. Highway speeds, you need the wheels balanced. If it's only while braking then you need to have the brakes inspected. If pad replacemnet is required, go for it. When they address the rotors, DO NOT TURN THEM ON A CONVENTIONAL LATHE. Honda REQUIRES them to be either turned on the vehicle(on the car lathe) or replaced. Then it comes down to quality. Always replace with the higher quality parts on these. If you do not, the problem will occur again, and the sme is true if you turn the rotors off of the car.

2001 Honda Odyssey 3000cc engine gave me the "shakes". Turns out one of the Ignition Coils failed rendering the spark plug useless. Change with part number 30520-p8e-a01and now runs normally.
