Where is the cranksahft sensor located in a 97 Suzuki swift? Is there a decent picture depicting where and how to get to the sensor?

Googling. Found some pictures but they aren't good enough to actually find and replace this sensor in a 97 Suzuki Swift.

Suzuki Cultus

quote: wiki: as you can see NOBODY knows what a Swift is?:
The Swift was marketed in the Japanese domestic market (JDM) as the Cultus and elsewhere as the Suzuki Swift, Suzuki Forsa, Suzuki Jazz, Chevrolet Swift, Chevrolet Sprint and Sprint Metro, Geo and Chevrolet Metro, Pontiac Firefly, Maruti 1000, Holden Barina and Subaru Justy. Versions of the second generation Cultus were also produced until 2007 in India and the car remains in production today in Pakistan and China. For more information on the initial versions of the Swift, see: Suzuki Cultus.

i would say its wear and tear, you can kill a clutch in a day if your hard on it,,,or it could take 150,000 miles,,suzuki will classify that as a wear and tear item,,they are really tight with that stuff,

SOURCE: where is the transmission dipstick in my manual

LEVEL CHECK With Oil Level Gauge Fig. 1: Manual transaxle oil level check - with level gauge 84241046.gif

  1. Drive the vehicle to bring the transmission up to operating temperature.
  2. With the engine stopped, remove the oil level gauge front the side case of the transaxle.
  3. Check the color and smell of the oil. If it is black in color or smells burnt, further transmission service is needed.
  4. Wipe off oil level gauge with clean cloth.
  5. Fit the oil level gauge to the transaxle side case so that the threads rest on top of the case.
  6. Remove the gauge and check oil level. The level should be between FULL and LOW level line.
  7. If the level is below LOW mark, add oil until the proper level is reached.
With Oil Level/Filler Plug
  1. Drive the vehicle to bring the transmission up to operating temperature.
  2. Raise and support the vehicle safely.
  3. Remove the transaxle oil level/filler plug.
  4. Check the color and smell of the oil. If it is black in color or smells burnt, further transmission service is needed.
  5. Transaxle oil level should be even with the bottom of the plug hole. If oil level is low, adjust oil level accordingly.
  6. Install transaxle oil level/filler plug and tighten to 40 ft. lbs. (54 Nm).
  7. Lower the vehicle.

SOURCE: Wer is the fuse box located in 2011 suzuki swift

well no idea to be honest firstly i would look under the bonnet near the battery for the power distribution box and see whats inside ,if no small fuses then look inside like under the drivers side dash or on the end of the dash when you open the door ,if that failed i then look on the passenger side but if the battery is on the drivers side then the fuse will be that side as well as cable costs money .

Crankshaft sensor - 97 Suzuki Swift. Need location.

can you afford a 10 buck walfart meter? DMM volt meter
the battery terms clean
fuses checked
starter dead, no jumper cables for a old car, its like first buy tool if ever there ways. huh>
so you cant jumper cable start car.
so we measure battery voltage cranking
11v good, hear clank, bad starter,
12.6v no clank is dead starter or dead keyline
hot wire key line, it cranks means key line DEAD.
try to crank in neutral? yet< A/t trans, this uses new switch contacts, wow it starts.?
lower than 10 v cranking is weak battery, no jumper cables, oops;.
or shorted starter, or seized engine, can you turn engine by hand.

my guess, is all this is too hard.
it takes tools to fix cars, some or are dirt cheap today.
unlike say in 1970 .... you in the good times.
